Temple of the Crane
A place of community.
The Crane walks all paths. It is equally adept to land, water, and sky. It can cross between the worlds seen and unseen. It moves with grace and purpose.
The Temple itself is a place of community for all walks of spiritual and magical beliefs to come together, share, learn, experiment, grow, and celebrate together. We do not strive to tell others how to walk their path. Instead we want to inspire them to explore and experiment to develop their own way.
Faith is not taught, it is experienced.
Wisdom is not learned from knowledge but the experience of that knowledge.
Community isn’t about being the same, it is about the spaces where we all overlap and come together.
Temple Cranes :
Temple Cranes are our members. Their spirituality/ path is individual and developed by them. The aspects of Crane Spirituality and Crane Practice is what we share as a community and common ground we can stand on together.
Our Values of Respect – Integrity – and Authenticity are our guides in how we show up and act within the Temple. How we interact with those who are not like us and those who are. How we listen, how we share, how we celebrate together.
Fire Feasts are shared celebrations within the Temple that follow the flow of the year. Each of us holds our own personal version of the Wheel and celebrate in our ways. Fire Festivals are about our community coming together and celebrating the space where we all overlap.
Your personal journey shouldn’t be searching for the “right way” it should be about discovering “Your Way”. Listening to other perspectives and experimenting with ideas and practices is crucial. Knowing yourself, embracing all the parts of yourself, and understanding you are sacred. Having the courage to be your authentic self. These are just a part of the journey.
Types of Temple Cranes :
Crane Spiritualists stay in the faith and philosophical aspects of the Temple, they choose to not incorporate magical practices.
Crane Practitioners hold the spiritual aspects but also include magical practices.
Elders are guides and resources for Temple members. Like you, they are still learning, discovery, and transforming along their path. Like you, they are sharing their experiences, thoughts, experiments, and wisdom they have gained along their journey.
Each member of the Temple, no matter where they fall, plays an important role. The Temple isn’t a space, it is the people who gather within it that is the real Temple.
